RICHARD FERGUSON
At the age of 9, Richard joined orchestra because his friend said it would be fun. A few weeks later, he begged his dad to quit. His father’s response was, “You can quit when you’re finished.” Since then, Richard has worked very hard to finish learning everything there is to know about playing the violin, but the end seems nowhere in sight. An integral part of the music scene in southeast Idaho for over 30 years, Richard has been a kind, but powerful influence to thousands and thousands of string players.
