Camp Info

- Performances for the show will be July 17 at 7 pm, and July 18 at 2 pm and at 7 pm, with a cast party in between the Saturday shows, and strike after the closing show; all campers are expected to be at every performance, the cast party, and strike

- Ages allowed for registered campers will be 11-18 as of the first day of camp and will be capped at 50 participants; registration will open very soon and spots will fill quickly so check back here for an update

- EVERY YOUTH who registers for camp will be in the show, and the tentative plan is to hold auditions in late May before school ends (for those who would like to audition; it is highly recommended, but not mandatory)

- The cost of this camp is still being finalized, and we will share that info as soon as we can; we are hoping we will have things all set up for you in time for Christmas!

- I (Kaatia Larsen) will be back as Director, with TRAC/Emily Miller as Producer, and most of our 'usual' team who have participated on the production side of things the past few years

- This camp will consist of many of the elements you've come to know and love, such as group activities, mini workshops and classes, opportunities to work on your own props, costumes, and set, and lots of fun, community-building projects, as well as rehearsing the show, learning music and doing choreography, running scenes and doing character work, and so on; it will also include several new elements we have never gotten to do before, based on some previous campers' feedback, new guest coaches coming in to help teach you new aspects of theatre, and more options we will have this year by doing the camp with TRAC

- The show we are doing is fun, high energy, has new things most of you have never learned/done before, and includes big dance numbers, memorable characters, incredible music, and a timeless story -- we think you'll be so excited to be a part of it! If, however, you aren't interested in camp this coming year, please feel free to leave this Band group -- and please be aware, everyone, that once registration opens up soon, the only allowed members that will still get to be in this group will be those who are registered campers for it

That's it for now -- please let me know if you have any questions, and I'll do my best to get you answers. I can assure you that behind the scenes, those of us 'in charge' of this program have been working a TON to make this happen, and are doing our very best to get everything squared away so you can register and start getting as excited as we are about it! Thanks for being amazing, and I am SO looking forward to getting to work with so many of you again, and to make this coming year the very BEST one yet!

~ Kaatia

Hey friends -- I just found out that a youth theatre in IF is doing Singin' in the Rain Jr. next month. I'm going to take Zac and Bria to see it on 2/28 at 2 pm. Let me know if anyone else would like to meet up there, or try to carpool, or anything like that. I think it would be super fun to get to see the show live before we do it! I'm going to get our tickets next week.
